**The Role**
As New Business Sales Manager, you will strive to achieve agreed targets for our Tax products from the appointment of new finance broker partners. Operating in a field-based role for the Specialist Lending division within PCL, you will develop and win a pipelineof new finance brokers.
You will maintain and develop a portfolio of commercial finance brokers, ensuring they are skilled to identify, sell and process PCL Tax product portfolio. You will manage and retain the renewals of the existing Tax transactions with your commercial financebrokers and with a focus on volume and revenue returns, ensure the book is profitable.
Additionally, your role will involve:
- Acting as the first line of defence in all risk and compliance policies
- Producing and agreeing an annual business plan, in conjunction with your line manager
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key influencers in the Commercial Finance Broker sector as appropriate to maximise business opportunities
- Identifying prospective new partners within the strategic criteria and maintaining the centralised pipeline report
- Reporting monthly on key performance indicators as agreed with the Sales Director within specified time scales
- Managing activity in line with an agreed sales approach
- Building a structured contact strategy and assisting with the development of consistent presentation collateral.

**To be considered as New Business Sales Manager, you will need**:
- Sales experience, focusing on new business and revenue generation
- A strong track record of developing business with Commercial Finance Brokers
- Strong relationship management skills
- Excellent presentation skills, able to present to Board level confidently
- Strong credit risk assessments skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Extensive professional/ industry contacts
Ideally, you will have:
- Extensive knowledge of UK lending markets, business practice in relation to funding lines and accounting procedures
