**Hours**: 144 hours over 4 weeks on a 7 Day Fortnight rotation (36 hours per week average).

**Salary**: £21,681 - £23,952 (£11.55 - £12.76ph)

We are a Fife Council company formed as an “Arms Length External Organisation” (ALEO). Our mission is to deliver best value sustainable waste and resource management services on behalf of Fife Council and to make Fife the resource management hub for Scotland.

We employ over 200 people within Fife to undertake these activities and handle over 220,000 tonnes of waste and recyclable materials per year.

We operate: Material Recovery Facilities; an Anaerobic Digestion Plant, Aerobic composting operations, 11 household waste recycling centres, around 300 multi-material recycling points, fuel production, landfill gas recovery, combined heat & power plant, district heating, active landfill sites, closed landfill sites, leachate treatment facilities and all the associated logistics and business operations.

Our Cireco Park site comprises of a state-of-the-art Material Recovery Facility, Anaerobic Digestion Plant, an active landfill, a recycling centre and wider waste transfer operations.

In this role you will form part of our teams operating across our Cireco Park site covering anaerobic digestion, landfill, recycling and other waste treatment processes. This involves activities such as: being involved in the processing, manual picking and sorting of waste, food/garden waste and recyclable materials, as well as the servicing and cleaning of associated equipment and machinery. You will, also be required, assist with other operations/functions across our sites.

We are looking for safety conscious people and having an industrial/environmental management background is desirable, although not essential as full training will be given. Full details of the role can be found within the Job Outline.
