We are currently recruiting an Asset Compliance Data Officer to join the Asset Sustainability team.
The Asset Compliance Data Officer will play a key role in allowing the Group to deliver on its commitment to keep customers safe by holding robust and accurate data on all of its assets. You will work as part of a team to ensure there is a single version of the truth in relation to compliance data. You will do this by acting as a gateway for all amendments to key systems and through the regular validation and triangulation of key datasets held across the Group.
1. Lead on the creation, disposal and amendment of all assets, components and associated certification with a compliance or servicing responsibility across all core databases. This will involve validating all data provided by Affordable Development, Property Maintenance and Delivery teams to ensure that relevant components are created and certification is held to demonstrate statutory compliance.

2. Work in accordance with and identify breaches in the data management protocols for assets and components with a compliance or servicing responsibility. This will include liaison with Property Maintenance, Affordable Development, Delivery, Health and Safety and other stakeholders on the visibility, management, transfer and integrity of all relevant assets and components.

3. Assist the Asset Compliance Data Manager on the development and refreshment of the core compliance and servicing databases ensuring that the data is accurate, triangulated and validated to provide full visibility of all assets and components with a compliance responsibility across the Group.

4. Support the Asset Compliance Data Manager in the development of new approaches to managing compliance data including updating data management protocols when new datasets or systems are adopted by the Group.

5. Support assurance reviews as required to ensure Gentoo has a robust and resilient approach to the delivery of Landlord Compliance in line with its strategy and approach to risk mitigation.

**What we are looking for**:
Experience of:
1. maintaining compliance databases and associated data management protocols (Essential)

2. using Microsoft products to complete complex data management process including confidence in the use of pivot tables and advanced formulas (Essential)

3. operating in a similar role level role within a diverse organisation

4. working with housing management systems and or products such as Salesforce

Knowledge of:
1. landlord compliance and servicing contracts and building safety standards (Essential)

2. data management systems and how these can be used to support the delivery of asset strategies within the housing sector and associated regulatory and statutory requirements

3. general duties of a landlord associated with the big six areas of compliance (gas, electric, asbestos, lifts, water hygiene and fire safety)

4. general understanding of the client duties under Construction Design Management (2015) and the Building Safety Act (2023).
