Sellick Partnership is currently seeking a dedicated Community Housing Specialist to support a respected social housing organization.

The Community Housing Specialist will play a crucial role in your designated area, ensuring effective oversight and upkeep of tenancies. This role requires collaboration with the allocations and letting team to facilitate the onboarding of new residents, assisting clients in establishing payment arrangements if they encounter financial difficulties, addressing issues related to anti-social behavior, and efficiently resolving tenant grievances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of neighborhoods and tenancies
  • Addressing anti-social behavior issues
  • Facilitating allocations and lettings
  • Overseeing vacant properties, conducting viewings, and performing welcome visits
  • Income management and financial support
  • Encouraging customer involvement and empowerment
  • Providing tenant support and liaison

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar role within housing management
  • Background in customer service, particularly with complex cases and vulnerable populations in a housing environment
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license (Essential)
