The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high-quality housing management service to local residents, and support people to sustain their homes and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a high-quality housing management service to local residents, including tenancy management and support.
  • Work closely with members of the public, providing advice and guidance on housing-related matters.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external agencies, including the DWP and debt charities.
  • Support residents in accessing benefits and financial inclusion services.
  • Responsible for new tenancy sign-ups in accordance with our Allocations and lettings policy and procedure.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Housing Officer / Tenancy Officer / Housing Partner or similar is essential.
  • Knowledge of housing legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience of providing good tenancy, housing and leasehold advice, and knowledge of best practice and compliance procedures.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is required.
