We are looking for an Company Accountant for a director of a Property company.

Joining a small yet established Property Management Company in London Kensington. This role is perfect if you If you enjoy administration and very good accounts experience.

**Specific responsibilities** will include sending invoices, reconciling statements and some credit control. Also managing Utility accounts, data entry.

Bookkeeping and / or bank reconciliation **experience is essential specifically using Sage Accounts/Payroll Software.**

**Experience in Excel is also essential.**

**The following is a breakdown of duties and Responsibilities are required.**

I) Ensuring the accounting systems and financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.

II) Compiling and analysing financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.

III) Establishing and monitoring the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.

IV) Resolving accounting discrepancies and irregularities if there is any.

V) Preparing and filing of quarterly VAT returns and employer annual returns within the required deadlines.

VI) Advising the management about tax issues and liaising with HMRC regarding tax issues and discrepancies.

VII) Assisting the management with the preparation of business plan, property portfolio, budgeting, financial forecasting, loans and deposit schedules, income schedules etc. for the purpose of financing and investing activities.

VIII) Preparing files for financial audit and coordinate the audit process.

IX) Coordinating and managing of payroll function within the company (e.g. PAYE system upgrades, payroll administration etc.)

X) Assisting the management with payroll policies and procedures, reporting back to the management team as and when required.

XI) Liaising with HMRC regarding Payroll queries on behalf of the company and employees as and when required.

XII) Advising the management with VAT issues and addressing them properly in accordance with VAT legislation.

XIII) Performing other ad hoc duties as and when required.

**Working Hours**:
Your working hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (9.30am - 5.30pm)

**Salary**:
£27,000.00 Per Annum
