Bennett and Game Recruitment are currently working with a Leading Distribution company actively seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join their North West location.

Our client are one of the top haulage operators between Ireland and England. The fleet consists of a wide variety of equipment to suit all customer needs including curtain side trailers, skelly trailers, bulk trailers, walking floor trailers, low loadersfor unloading heavy loads at remote locations. Due to continued growth they are looking for a self motivated individual to join their team.

**Buisness Development ManagerPosition Overview**
- Deliver an outstanding customer service experience and build a first-class reputation for quality and excellence
- You will manage the day-to-day relationships with the customers and deliver a first class after sales experience, including the timely resolution of any issues that arise; to ensure that customer expectations are met at all times.
- Identifying and evaluating prospects to win new business
- Identifying new opportunities with existing customers
- Develop and maintain a high quality pipeline of target customers and opportunities.
- Support the operations where necessary
- Conducting market research on competitors pricing and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests
- You will actively prospect for new business on a day-to-day basis, providing daily and weekly written updates to the Business.
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports and updates to the Business.
- Achieve in Excess of £5,000,000 increase in new sales within 12 months with plans on future growth to follow.

**Buisness Development ManagerPosition Requirements**
- Experience in selling transport goods between England and Ireland
- Have a minimum of 5 years top level sales experience
- Be a seasoned professional with a proven track record of delivering on targets.
- Be very well connected within the logistics and transport industries across Ireland and the UK.
- Be customer focused and passionate about delivering a first class customer experience.
- Have the ability to prioritise your workload in order to achieve targets and ensure excellent levels of customer service are achieved at all times.
- Be highly motivated by challenges, negotiation skills and your ability to close deals will be essential in achieving your goals.
