Office Administrator

A successful Peterborough business is seeking an Office Administrator to join their growing team. This is a key role within a busy office environment and would be well suited to an organised and proactive individual.
This is a varied role and one that has the opportunity to be shaped. My client is highly regarded within their industry and experiences very busy peaks, especially over the summer months. They are looking for someone who can organise and manage day to dayoffice duties and positively contribute to the success of their business.
You will have the opportunity to learn on the job and will be given the necessary training. You will also work very closely alongside the Accounts Manager and will support with their work when required.
**The Job - Office Administrator**:
- Manage the Reception area and welcome any visitors to site.
- Answer incoming calls, diverting them to colleagues when required.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and third parties.
- Arrange and book accommodation.
- Order company workwear.
- Support with facilities maintenance.
- Support with accounts and payroll in the absence of the Accounts Manager.
- Day to day office duties to support colleagues and the overall operations of the business.
**The Individual - Office Administrator**:
- Previous office admin/receptionist experience.
- A positive, confident and proactive attitude.
- A strong team player.
- A willingness to learn.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Xero accounting software is an advantage but not essential.
