0.8 WTE (0.4 WTE permanent; 0.4 WTE fixed term)

This post takes place across CNWL NHS Foundation Trust and Brunel University London who work together in support of arts psychotherapies training and practice. Two days will be based within an arts psychotherapies NHS service in North West London on a permanent basis. Two remaining days will be based at Brunel University London on a fixed-term basis for 2 years.

Hybrid working options will be considered with the option of some remote working across the week.

POST DESCRIPTION

We are looking to appoint a motivated, professional and proactive individual to provide administrative support for an arts therapies service delivering psychological treatment for adults with severe and enduring mental health needs across three London boroughs as well support our trust in the provision of world class arts therapies education.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide senior administrative support to the Arts Psychotherapies operational lead and put excellence in arts therapies education. There is also a requirement to provide part-time admin support to the Head of Profession for arts psychotherapies across CNWL.

This person will be responsible for a range of tasks which primarily involve providing high-level administrative support and coordinating arts therapies education activities within the arts therapies education team.

CNWL is one of the largest NHS employers in the UK of Arts Psychotherapists, working in a vast range of services and has an increasing trainee placement programme continually broadening the reach of the profession. CNWL has developed strong links with Brunel University, supporting and developing their international PHD and masters course in Art Psychotherapy training.

CNWL Arts Psychotherapies and Brunel University are linked nationally with research programmes, have strong QI support and are keen to expand the knowledge and evidence-base of the Arts Psychotherapies.

**The role will include the following**:

- Working closely with and providing administrative support to the arts therapy operational and clinical leads, course leads and practice educators.
- Ensuring effective administrative systems are in place to support the clinical work of arts psychotherapies staff in NWL.
- Providing high-level administration for the Trust arts psychotherapies lead.
- Undertaking data-related pieces of work focused on performance, governance and quality improvement/ research-related matters.
- Contributing to the development of standard operating procedures across all administrative functions of training, education and evaluations to ensure the provision of efficient and effective services.
- Co-ordinating the delivery of arts therapies education programmes in collaboration with CNWL and Brunel University London.
- Co-ordinating the delivery of induction and specialist training programmes for NHS staff and partnership programmes.
- Contributing to the planning and review of induction processes for staff, practice educators and trainees.
- Supporting the arts therapies placement coordinator and consultant in the delivery of educational projects and workstreams.
- Contributing to the development of evaluation systems for all arts therapies education activities, making recommendations for service improvement where required.
- Leading on procurement and invoicing matters in liaison with the arts therapy leads.
- Providing administrative support for NWL arts therapy away days, trainings and events.
- Working with colleagues in other Education and OD functions to support the development of shared learning centres across the Trust. This will involve development and implementation of policies for a number of common functions including educational facilities, room booking systems, inductions, e-learning, front of house services and evaluation methods.
