**Who are we looking for?**
An inspirational Community Engagement Officer who will support the Management Team with engagement into the wider community, through developing and maintaining partnerships and identifying opportunities for collaboration with partners to meet the needs of our clients. In this role you will also oversee a team of mentors and volunteers who provide support to our clients that have recently been released from prison, with the aim to help them overcome multiple barriers and ensure a smooth and healthy re integration into community.
**Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Recruit, manage and oversee the training of volunteers and peer mentors.
- Set up, develop, and oversee the peer mentoring project in the community.
- Ensuring the mentees provide information, support, and guidance to our service users.
- Offer support with encouragement to isolated individuals; empower people to make positive and informed life choices.
Travel will be required in this role,
A DBS check will be required for this role.
Prison Clearance will be required for this role.
