Our service and parts departments are open 24/7 supporting operators throughout Yorkshire. Our body shop offers a full accident repair service.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Service Administrator to join our team. As a Service Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our service department. This is a vital role that requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively as ell as work with a wide range of colleagues.
Duties: whilst you will offer full general admin support to the service desk, you will also be trained up in all aspects of the service advisor role to enable additional support in that area.
- General Administration tasks such as filing, scanning and copying
- Telephone support, answering the telephone in a professional and timely manner
- Manage and organise service department schedules and appointments
- Coordinate with technicians and customers to schedule service calls
- Perform data entry tasks, including updating customer information and service records
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Hours of work Monday to Friday 40 hours between 8am and 6pm (to be discussed) and occasional Saturday mornings (paid at overtime rate).
About You:
- Proven experience in an administrative role preferably within the truck industry
- Proficient in using computerised systems and software, such as Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks
- Professional phone manner and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
