**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Head of Health and Safety to join our dynamic team at Ocado Logistics. This is an exciting new role that combines responsibility for HSE, environmental management, and food safety. As we transition from a central support function to devolving these responsibilities to the operators, this role will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment of our HSE and food safety policies and procedures.

Based in our Head Office in Hatfield this is a hybrid role with some travel required to our CFCs (customer fulfilment centres) and delivery spokes across the country.

**You will be**:
As the Head of Health and Safety at Ocado Logistics, your responsibilities include leading a team of HSE Business Partners & Food technology specialists, ensuring sufficient resources for Logistics within the UK. You will collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to define the function's structure, develop training plans, monitor compliance, and provide guidance on HSE and food safety. Your role involves supporting project-based initiatives, capturing HSE data, fostering a positive culture, reviewing risk assessments, and assisting with the Ocado Group HSE Strategy. You will also analyse trends, coach operational teams, and manage regulatory relationships.
