We are recruiting a **General Administrator **at our **Hitachi Connected Technology (HCT) **unit in **Hebburn**, who will play a crucial role in the implantation, maintenance and monitoring of HCT operations such as invoicing, document management, report generation, and coordination with stakeholders

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up rental contracts for the telematics units on the ERP system.
- Importing relevant documents to the ERP system (service reports and annual inspections).
- Register and record all machine calibration files and LOLER certs.
- Thoroughly input the HCT Engineer’s job cards into the ERP system.
- Accurately cross reference engineers job cards against timesheets.
- Input engineers worked time on the ERP system.
- Create and produce reports on operational hours and fault codes.
- Liaising with HCT National Engineers to ensure consumable stock is replenished.
- Coordinate ordering of van stock/ parts for engineers by liaising with HCT parts department.
- Proactively monitor open work orders within the ERP system.
- Raise annual inspection certificates for customer machines in a timely manner.
- Accurately match and book in purchase orders ready for customer invoices.
- Communicate with all stakeholders including internal teams, suppliers, customers, and Hitachi Europe.
- Any other administration duties required to fulfil the role.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- Essential_
- GCSE Grade 4 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Demonstrable experience in general administration role.
- Strong communication skills at all levels with a good telephone manner.
- Excellent time management skills and be a forward thinker with the ability to plan ahead.
- Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred_
- Experience of working in the plant hire or construction industry.
