**We are looking for a Marketing Communications and Planning Coordinator for our in house Marketing team.**
**The successful applicant will join a great team and you will have the opportunity to work on many different marketing projects as well as carrying out the day to day administrative tasks.**
**Purpose of the role**:
The purpose of the role is to assist with the co-ordination of marketing comms and marketing planning, ensuring the department has up to date data/information for the week through relevant administration support.
Maintaining the department dashboard and heavily supporting the team to ensure creative for the department is always up to date.
The role communicates plans with all channels within the business, as well as suppliers communicating key marketing and trading messages clearly.
This role also involves working with online and digital channels, key marketing functions, buying, merchandising, supply chain, retail ops, and trading admin to create a clear and structured marketing plan.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- The role** **supports the marketing comms and planning team in working with Marketing channels, Trading, Product Development, Merchandising, Supply and Retail, to bring together the planning & delivery of customer-facing activity across the business, including Above the Line activity, promotions, events, communications, product range & New Product Development launches.
- Captures the detail of planning and development of each activity / event / proposition, using excellent project management skills.
- Preparation of materials for key meetings to support as required, along with clear and timely follow ups.
- Ensuring 100% accuracy of output of all work being shared with the business.
- Maintaining the communication packs on a daily basis with any communications updates.
- Regular report set up to understand the performance of key campaigns.
- Creation and sign off on T&C’s
- Ensuring all teams have the correct information to brief creative, and reviewing all creative ahead of it going live.
- Weekly reporting of the sales to influence forward plans.
- Takes on additional admin e.g. Raising PO’s.
- Ensuring that the business activity plan is maintained daily.
- Helping in the creation of the forward plan based on topical events and what has worked for the business.
- Creation of line lists activity where relevant.
- Collating analysis of key market activity and data to inform future campaigns.
- Spending more time instore to understand our position in the market.
- Writing wash up and keeping POD/creative decks up to date.
- Assist with internal Communications.
- Taking minutes.
- Attending relevant meeting and cascading key information.
- Coordinating gift card activity.
- Coordinating supplier funded campaigns.
