**Internal Auditor, Flexible/Remote Based.**
Bibby Financial Services have an exciting opportunity available for a reliable **Internal Auditor **to join our team on a **Flexible/Remote contract with a requirement to travel to our UK & European offices**. You will join us on a **full time, permanent basis **and in return, you will receive a **competitive salary of £34,500-£47,500 per annum, plus benefits.**

As our **Internal Auditor, **you will join the Global Risk team, supporting the Assurance Manager with the delivery of the BFS Internal Audit Program through timely, consistent and professional delivery of completed internal audits per country / product / business / function or process area.
**Responsibilities as our Internal Auditor**:
- Working with the Assurance Manager to complete the annual internal audit programme, ensuring that audits are completed in a timely basis, to a high standard and focused on driving business improvement.
- To complete a kick-off meeting prior to each audit which enables the business area owner to provide updates and insight into current performance, areas of success, areas of challenge and any upcoming or recent changes.
- Creation of the scope for each audit, which is agreed by all stakeholders.
- To discuss and negotiate key findings and recommendations at a close out meeting with the relevant stakeholders.
- Undertake comprehensive preparation prior to each audit to involve review key metrics, trends and data, any operational risks, local risk registers, projects in progress and the strategy. Ensure all stakeholders are given the opportunity to input.
- Identify and investigate risk issues in line with the BFS Risk Framework and to exercise professional judgment to make sound decisions.
- To participate in any audit follow ups to test that key recommendations have been implemented.
- To review and agree audit gradings and recommendations for audits conducted by other BFS staff or outsourced providers.
- Provide a monthly summary of audit gradings, key findings and audits scheduled to the Assurance Manager
**What we are looking for in our ideal Internal Auditor**:
- Client Manager/Operations Manager and/or audit experience within a factoring/discounting company
- Financial services experience
- Knowledge of relevant legislation such as Financial Crime, Money Laundering and Data Protection.
- Full driving license
