**Qualifications and relevant training**:

Professional qualification in the care field (Social Work)
Three years post-qualifying experience.
Experience of working with adult safeguarding cases.
Evidence that you are registered with a relevant professional body
Holder of a valid driving license and use of a car
**Desirable**:
Developmental qualifications within the profession (CPEL)
Teaching Practice Qualification.

Adequate IT skills to make effective use of software packages that are relevant to the post.

**Purpose of the post**:
- Ensure that the people of Gwynedd are at the heart of everything we do.
- To provide operational guidance on adult safeguarding issues across Cyngor Gwynedd and the BCUHB workforce in order to ensure that citizens have access to the appropriate person in a timely manner and to enable them to continue to live their lives as they wish to.
- Support the Area Leads to manage the Adult Safeguarding process.
- To provide expertise in adut safeguarding and to act in an advisory role for the county’s services.
