**Qualifications and relevant training**:

- Professional qualification in the care field (Social Work/Occupational Therapy)
- Three years post-qualifying experience.
- Evidence that you are registered with a relevant professional body
- Holder of a valid driving license and use of a car

**Desirable**:

- Management Qualification.
- Developmental qualifications within the profession (CPEL)
- Teaching Practice Qualification.
- Commitment to undertake DOLS ‘Best Interest’ Assessor training.‎

**Relevant experience**:
**Essential**:

- Evidence of broad experience of working in the community.
- Experience of working in adults services.
- Demonstrates experience of effective leadership in an environment that changes regularly.
- Experience of supporting colleagues or students in the workplace.
- Experience of working on complex cases.
- Experience of working effectively with partners.‎

**Desirable**:

- Experience of contributing to schemes/projects.
- Experience of consultation work, presentations and completing reports.
- Experience of achieving targets within specific time limits.
- Experience of managing risks and displaying an excellent professional opinion.

**Skills and specialist knowledge**:

- Displays knowledge, understanding and experience of the legislation that is relevant to the field of adult care and health.
- Able to interpret policies and strategies in order to determine operational guidance and advice for staff.
- Understanding of the Social Services and Well-being Act 2014.
- Understand the Council’s objectives and priorities.
- Understand the concept and principles of Ffordd Gwynedd.
- Ability to communicate and network effectively orally and in writing.

The purpose of the Integrated Adults Team is:

- Ensure that the people of Gwynedd are at the heart of everything we do.
- Give operational leadership and lead change across a workforce group employed by Gwynedd Council and Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board to ensure that people in the area are able to gain access to the right person at the right time and receive the right support to enable them to continue living their own lives.
