**An exciting opportunity has become available to work as part of the Placement Commissioning Team (PCT) for Children Services.**
- This is a full time role working Monday to Friday. Starting work at 2pm you will work alongside the Placement Commissioning Team to support the identification of placements required for that day. You will then take the lead in identifying placements outside of core business hours between 5pm and 9pm as well as any emergency requests received via the Out of Hours Service during these times. You will also be responsible to support planned work within the Placement Commissioning Team for ongoing placement searches, as well as have the opportunity to support foster carers via welfare calls for those placed in emergency placements.- The role is based within a busy and sometimes pressured environment and similar experience is desirable. You will need to work as part of a small team and be able to exercise independence to maintain and manage a handover of live placement search referrals from allocated Placement Officers. Time management and prioritisation skills will be essential, as is the ability to work to deadline.
