**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team. The Production Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, coordinating tasks, and ensuring production schedules are met efficiently.

**Role Purpose**:
The Production Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the Bakery processing and production planning process, along with ownership of the administration processes within the business.

**Role Objectives**:

- Collaborate with production managers to create and maintain an efficient production schedule based on works orders, resource availability, and customer demands.
- Coordinate with various departments, including procurement, logistics, and quality control, to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
- Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed.
- Developing and implementing production schedules to maximize productivity.
- Ensuring that safety and quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
- Analysing production data and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Implementing lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
- Reporting to upper management on production progress and any significant issues
- Create new BOM’s on internal system, from information supplied the Production Team
- Accurate recording of systems database.
- Answering office phone as required.
- Assist the manager with data queries.
- Telephone calls are answered in a timely, polite professional manner and either handled personally or forwarded to appropriate person.
- Staying updated with the latest production management techniques and industry standards
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager and give daily updates and reports.
- Providing assistance with any other administration requirements

**Role Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a production coordinator/administrator, within in a food manufacturing environment.
- Experience and knowledge of good scheduling of production, based on stock availability and expected delivery times**.**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience of achieving SALSA accreditation or equivalent.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of spreadsheets, stock management software and systems
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work positively with others as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 per week
