This is a proactive role, assisting the Maintenance Manager in ensuring that the park is effectively maintained. You will play a key role in guaranteeing all repairs are undertaken promptly and to high standards, contractors are monitored and supervised ensuring performance targets are achieved and high levels of customer satisfaction is attained.

**What will this role entail?**

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role provides administrative and technical support to the Maintenance Operations across Longleat (LEL) with specific responsibility for the management of planned, preventative maintenance and compliance activities whilst working within set safety parameters.

Key duties will include:

- Co-ordinates the day-to-day maintenance works and to organise a team of maintenance operatives
- Deliver a timely and cost-effective maintenance service. Ensuring all works meet the needs and expectations of internal and external customers
- Ensure that all reactive maintenance, emergencies, and repairs on park are dealt with appropriately and in timely manner
- Support the Maintenance manager in development of long-term maintenance programme
- Obtain quotations for specialist works, ensuring adherence to agreed specifications.
- Assist with stock control and the ordering of materials

**What will I need to be considered for this vacancy?**
- Good level of education (to GCSE standard in English and Maths)
- Experience of organising workload for multiple team members with different skill sets.
- Experience in creating and managing filing systems, both physical and electronic
- Evidence of delivering high levels of customer service

You’ll be employed on a permanent 40-hour contract, working 5 days out of 7, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays as required. Earliest start time from 8am, and latest finish time up to 8pm, varying in accordance with opening times.
