Role: Communications Officer

Length: Perm Position after 3 months if successful probation.

Availability: Full Time, Supporting Core Office hours 0800-1800. Mon - Friday working 7.5 hours each day starting between 0800 & 0930 each day and finishing between 1600 & 1730 each day.

Location: Hybrid. _Main Office is_ _Phoenix House, Liverpool._

Interview location: Initial Assessment then if successful after the assessment an interview. Phoenix House, Liverpool, or Microsoft Teams TBC

**Salary**: 25,000 to £30,000 Dependant of experience

As a key member of the team you will be responsible for central communications for our contracts across Customer Services sites. You will be required to write, co-ordinate and articulate effective and creative communications across all channels, ensuring that all literature / content are as up to date and as accurate as can be.

**Specific duties and responsibilities include**:

- To create and deliver in a timely manner all communications activity.
- To procure any required marketing activity in line with corporate contracts, marketing strategy and procurement guidelines.
- To ensure that any required marketing materials, events and other deliverables adhere to brand guidelines and are to be of a consistently high quality.
- To evaluate and report on specific projects - including employee, external, partner and stakeholder feedback.
- To proactively identify, monitor and track internal issues around project work that could adversely affect the reputation of the organisation and take proactive steps to ensure plans are in place to manage these issues.
- To proactively and regularly identify examples of best practice and ensure continuous development of the communications activity.
- To coordinate the planning and implementation of employee and public events as required.

**Knowledge & Experience**:

- Knowledge of marketing and media relations practices
- An understanding of public sector reputational issues
- Experience of working in a busy communications team.
- Experience of working in an internal communications role
- Experience of creating written content for intranets
- Experience of working with stakeholders

**Professional Skills**
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex information clearly and simply
- Effective personal impact and influencing skills
- Good planning and time management skills
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
