Join our international team at the Postcode Lottery Group in the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, the UK and Sweden

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Public Affairs, the post-holder will perform a key role within the Public Affairs team to achieve the organisation’s public policy goals, with a particular focus on opposition party engagement and public affairs event management.

**Your tasks**:

- Political party engagement, primarily in the House of Commons and House of Lords but also within the devolved institutions of the United Kingdom.
- Represent PPL in engaging with parliamentarians and special advisers, including backbenchers, as well as supporting senior colleagues in engaging with members of the UK cabinet and shadow cabinet.
- Leads engagement with parliamentarians around local grant funding opportunities.
- Organisation and implementation of People’s Postcode Lottery’s presence at political party conferences, including exhibiting, fringe events and receptions.
- Organisation of People’s Postcode Lottery’s Annual Parliamentary Reception.

**Your qualities**:

- Experience and knowledge of politics, parliamentary procedure and government structures.
- Experience of dealing directly with civil servants and parliamentarians.
- Ability to think strategically, identify what needs to happen, who needs to be involved, and then delivering on this.
- Proven experience of building trust and developing internal and external networks.
- Strong understanding of the public policy environment and extensive knowledge of the UK political
