Public Affairs Specialist

At the Financial Conduct Authority, we are seeking a skilled Public Affairs Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Public Affairs team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with Parliament and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret political developments and explain FCA policy and action to stakeholders
  • Provide guidance to senior FCA staff on emerging risks and opportunities
  • Act as a briefing function, preparing senior management for public and parliamentary events
  • Understand and explain political decisions affecting the financial services sector
  • Support the MPs' letters process
  • Lead projects to ensure effective communication of FCA work to stakeholders
