We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and caring coordinator to join the EMAS Non-Emergency Transport Service(NEPTS) to help support the Quality Performance Delivery Manager in providing the quality function for our team.

Quality improvement in EMAS helps to ensure that we are delivering a safe, caring, well-lead, responsive and effective service.

We are looking for an individual working from home with occasional travel to any EMAS NEPTS base.

The Quality Coordinator will support the NEPTS Quality Performance Delivery Manager with the quality aspects of the NEPTS Service. The post holder will ensure that internal procedures are followed, and deadlines are adhered to so that NEPTS provides a quality, focussed and professional service.

The role will involve reporting on different areas of the services including dealing with complex and sensitive information to produce reports and ensure issues are dealt with in a timely manner. Communication will be with both patients and other areas of the trust both verbally and in writing. No two days are the same in this role and you will work proactively in a fast paced environment.

NEPTS is a small be dedicated team who’s drive comes from doing the right thing for our patients, stakeholders and staff.

The post holder with support the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPTS) Quality Performance Delivery Manager (QPDM) with the quality aspects of the NEPTS Service. The post holder will ensure that internal procedures are followed, and deadlines are adhered to so that NEPTS provides a quality, focused and professional service.

The role will include dealing with complex and sensitive information therefore the post holder must always demonstrate professionalism. It is essential that you have the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with staff, patients and public. This will include the use of excellent interpersonal skills including tact and diplomacy. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated ability to deal with a high volume of work whilst maintaining standards and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment proactively assisting all staff in the directorate to achieve their objectives. Must have the ability to use personal judgement and follow managerial guidance and support in relation to prioritisation of workload.

You will have experience in a role that required attention to detail and accuracy. You will be able to coordinate and manage large amounts of administration. You will also have skills in integrating different computer systems to accurately locate and interpret information.

The successful applicant will be a competent user of Microsoft Office packages including proficient use of Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.

The Post holder will work in accordance with the Trust Policies and procedures. The post holder will work mainly from home with occasional travel to trust premises as required.
