We're looking for a Welcome & Service Assistant to join our Welcome Team at Clumber Park.

This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. You'll be working primarily at weekends, on bank holidays and during school holidays. We predict you'll work approximately 12 hours per week. We’d give you as much notice of this as possible.

What you'll be doing:Clumber Park is currently the busiest pay-for-entry property the National Trust, with over 600,000 visitors annually - and you’ll be welcoming them Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide.

Most days, you'll be welcoming visitors at our Welcome Points, taking admission, scanning National Trust membership cards and providing information/orientation to them; promoting events, activities and offers to ensure every visitor gets the most out of their visit. Welcoming delivery drivers, contractors, volunteers and fellow staff members, you'll support the smooth running of whole-site operations.

You'll occasionally support in the delivery of events at times throughout the year, including some car-parking duties. Working within the wider portfolio team of staff and volunteers you'll deliver outstanding visitor service. You'll also support across the property/portfolio when required.
