Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team, the role of Welcome & Service Assistant plays a critical part in providing fantastic customer service to our members and visitors.

What it's like to work here:We work closely and fully support each other in terms of wellbeing, progression, and opportunities. We're also passionate about the cause of the National Trust and conservation at Clumber Park. You'll report directly to the Welcome Management Team and work as part of the wider Visitor Welcome team of around 20 colleagues.

Clumber Park is a beautiful expanse of parkland, heath and woods covering more than 3,800 acres. Clumber was once the country estate of the Dukes of Newcastle. Although the house was demolished in 1938, there are many glimpses of its grand past to explore. From the Gothic-style chapel, often referred to as a 'Cathedral in miniature', you can follow in the footsteps of Dukes through the peaceful pleasure ground to the Walled Kitchen Garden where you can experience sights, scents and a taste of the past

What you'll be doing:As the largest conservation charity in Europe we work hard to raise funds so that we can continue to care for all the heritage in our trust.

Visitors are a vital part of what we do, so you’ll be responsible for ensuring that you provide an excellent service to our visitors, every day. As a Welcome & Service Assistant, it’s your role to ensure that the welcome our visitors receive is perfect, setting them up for an amazing experience for the rest of the day. You’ll be responsible for welcoming our visitors at multiple admissions points, answering queries and making sure they can find everything they need for their visit.

Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. Working within our spirit of place you’ll work with the Visitor Welcome team to link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do.

You’ll deliver high standards of presentation at the property, and ensure all our communications with our visitors are clear and consistent, from the first click on the website, to the posters and signs around the property.
