A really exciting opportunity to join a major high street brand Payroll team. Our client is a fun, fast paced business and as the Payroll Administrator you be part of a team of 6 and you will play a really crucial part to the business and look after allof the stores time-sheet employees which is their biggest section to payroll. You will be part of a team of two in this area and reporting into the Payroll Manager.
As a team, they always help to cover each other over holidays, always eager to hear new ideas, along with being a really close team. A the payroll administrator joining, you will be part of a fantastic passionate team
The role offers flexi-hours (core hours 10 - 4) and if you do require, 1 day WFH.
**Responsibilities;**
Responsibility of administering and processing the Hourly Payroll ensuring all deadlines are met in order to guarantee our employees are paid on time as per the set payroll calendars. Reporting to: Payroll Manager
**Monthly Payroll**
- Ensure all time sheets & absences are accepted on WFM by cut off
- Check for any anomalies and liaise with Store / Area Manager to have these amended
- Pay Calculations for;- New Starts
- Leavers
- Amendments
- Transfers of payroll
- Checking appropriate ID for Right to Work
- Commission calculations
- Holiday pay calculation for new starts, leavers, change of hours
- Calculate SMP & SSP
- Implement Earnings Assestment & ensuring correct deductions are being applied.
- Complete schedule for payment
- Keep Payments & deductions spreadsheet up to date
- Run checks on payroll before giving to Payroll Manager for checking
- Manual Calculations
- E-Payslips (& re-issue if necessary)
- P45's
- Statement of Earnings
**Additional role specific that you may be responsible for / team support**
- Fortnightly Payroll (Xmas Period only)
- Assistance with Monthly and Irish payroll as and when required
- Any other duties that maybe required
**Requirements**:
- 2-3 years payroll experience similar to the role requirements
- Experience working in a fast paced commercial environment
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Solid attention to detail and sense of urgency Adaptable, strong work ethic and a good team Player
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
