- You will make a difference as a Compliance Case Officer by ensuring that we tackle and process enforcement against environmental crime and street scene offences such as littering, accurately and fairly. You will be a part of a diligent team that takes enforcement action to positively create a safer, cleaner and greener environment for our community.**What will you be doing?**
- This is a varied role and a great opportunity in the Environmental Enforcement field where you will be call handling, monitoring, processing and quality assessing all Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs); preparing enforcement cases for review and prosecution to compiling and delivering various data reports.- You will ensure the provisions of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and the Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014 in addition to any other legislation relevant to the role, are met by monitoring Fixed Penalty Notices that have been issued.
- You will send Fixed Penalty Notices reminder letters and monitor the receipt of payments.
- You’ll deliver accurate verbal or written reports and statements, in support of enforcement activity and may appear in hearings as the Council’s witness.
- You will be responsible for producing quarterly reports and publishing them on South Gloucestershire webpages.
- You will prepare and organise patrol plans for the Street Enforcement Officers each week.
- You shall receive accreditation via the Waste Management Industry Training Advisory Board (WAMITB) National Enforcement Academy accredited programme.

- You will demonstrate knowledge and skills in IT and numeracy in order to maintain and produce accurate reports.
