An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us at Staffordshire Children's Hospital at Royal Stoke as a Waiting List Officer. We are looking for a hard working, reliable individual to manage our inpatient waiting list and aid in RTT Validation for the Directorate.

The post holder will be responsible for managing the inpatient waiting lists ensuring patients are seen within the national targets. Liaising with parents and the clinical team to coordinate the waiting lists and procedures required. The role will also involve RTT validating across Child Health specialities again working towards the national targets. Proactively monitor and track 18 week pathways in order to ensure that patient journeys are processed in a timely and efficient manner in line with nationally and locally defined targets. The post holder will ensure that data is validated throughout the patient journey and inputted correctly into local systems.
The post holder will monitor report and track patient’s pathways, identifying and addressing potential breaches, data errors or pathway errors and escalating through the correct channels for remedial action.
