Job Overview

This role provides comprehensive secretarial, waiting list/diary management and administrative support to the PPHS medical, nursing and therapies team. The successful candidate will communicate appointment and admissions related information to service users.

The post holder will be compliant with the Patient Access Policy and Divisional requirements in terms of outpatient waiting list management.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new service at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, providing care to patients across multiple sites.

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient individual to coordinate and book inpatient and outpatient appointments, handle referrals from Primary Care Services and other external services.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a healthcare environment, proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work with confidential information.

Salary: £24,071 - £25,674 per annum (pro rata for part-time hours)
