Our client based in the heart of Walsall’s town centre are now recruiting an Accounts Administrator to join their wonderful team on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will report directly to the Finance Director and you will be responsible for the controlof Purchase Ledger and Payroll function.
**Duties and responsibilities**:
- Purchase Ledger - process delivery notes, material invoices, credit notes, subcontract invoices
- Dealing with queries and chasing creditors
- Monthly statements consolidation with invoices
- Processing weekly/monthly payments
- Handling petty cash and control of receipts
- Banking
- General accounts and contracts administration including; filing and answering telephones
- Handling subcontractor queries
- Completing payroll
**Skills needed for the role**:
- Must have previous experience in an accounts position
- Credit Control experience is preferable
- Must have good communication skills
- Confident user of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programmes
- Experience using SAGE is preferable
