Accounts Assistant

Job Summary:
An opportunity has arisen for a full time Accounts Assistant to join a well-established electrical installations company in Bloxwich, West Midlands.
Minimum 5 years experience in an accounts role. Must be proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel and Eque2.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working under the direction of the Finance Manager to provide general accounts and administrative support as part of a busy Accounts Team.
Will be aware of and comply with company policies and procedures, in particular health and safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting any concerns to the Office Manager.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Answering the telephone and dealing with customer queries
Meet and greet visitors
Request supplier prices / place orders when approved
Invoicing
Processing sales and purchase invoices using Eque2 and obtain relevant Project Manager approval
Administration of the training matrix
Input of invoices onto SAGE 50 as and when required
Maintain vehicle records (MOT, service, ULEZ / CAZ)
To operate general office equipment such as photocopier and larger plotter
Opportunities may arise from time to time to participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
Pay: £12.50 per hour
