**Y Rôl**
Fel Swyddog Cymwysterau, byddwch yn sicrhau bod cymwysterau a'r system gymwysterau yng Nghymru yn diwallu anghenion dysgwyr yn effeithiol.
Byddwch yn cefnogi amrywiaeth o waith reoli prosiectau trwy gynllunio a threfnu gwaith, drwy helpu i lunio barnau a llywio penderfyniadau. Byddwch hefyd yn cefnogi y gwaith o ddarparu adborth i gyrff dyfarnu. Wrth ymgysylltu â chynghorwyr a rhanddeiliaid arbenigol,bydd angen i chi greu adroddiadau, cymryd nodiadau a chadw cofnodion.
Bydd eich rôl hefyd yn cynnwys:

- Cynnal adolygiadau o gyrff dyfarnu, cymwysterau, prosesau, systemau a dogfennau
- Cyfrannu at reoli contractau gydag arbenigwyr allanol a darparwyr eraill
- Cefnogi prosiectau trawsbynciol
- Cyfrannu at raglenni adolygu, monitro a chydymffurfio

**About Us**
We are Qualifications Wales, the independent organisation responsible for regulating general and vocational qualifications in Wales. We focus on publicly funded qualifications, including GCSEs, A-Levels and vocational qualifications.
We are currently looking for two Qualifications Officers to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. We are happy to hear from those seeking alternative working patterns, including part-time and job shares, and will be looking to discuss this at interview.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised individual with experience of project management to step into a vital role with our independent organisation.
**The Role**
As a Qualifications Officer, you will ensure that qualifications and the qualification system in Wales effectively meets the needs of learners.
You will support a range of project management through planning and organising work, help to form judgements and inform decision making and support the provision of feedback to awarding bodies. Engaging with expert advisors and stakeholders, you’ll producereports, take notes and keep records.
Your role will also involve:

- Undertaking reviews of awarding bodies, qualifications, processes, systems and documents
- Contributing to the management of contracts with external experts and other providers
- Supporting cross-cutting projects
- Contributing to programmes of review, monitoring and compliance
**About You**
To be considered as a Qualifications Officer, you will need:

- Experience of working within a structured and effective project or programme management environment
- Experience of reviewing information against criteria to form a judgement
- Experience of engaging with stakeholders in a formal context
- An understanding of project management techniques
- The ability to draft clear and concise reports
- Excellent communication skills
The closing date for this role is the 30th January 2023.
