Our Newport based customer is recruiting a Client Support Officer to join them as soon as possible.

**Job Purpose**:
As First Line Support, you will be an experienced Microsoft Office user working as part of our team to provide support to our client user base. You will have excellent communication skills both spoken and written with a good understanding of internet technologies - web browsers, cookies, social media and mobile device Apps.

The role will form every client’s day to day impression of what it’s like to be our customer, so it is mission-critical that this interaction is positive, efficient, and demonstrates the team’s above and-beyond mentality.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Users will from time to time need help and support with our software, you will take responsibility for informing customers at each stage of the resolution process;
- You will record issues, respond where possible and escalate to the appropriate team where needed;
- To contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives and business results
- Work with our team on projects to improve our help system

**Accountabilities**:

- With the customer’s best interest in mind, show outstanding problem-solving skills to effectively solve customer’s question
- Accurately document all customer interaction, research and resolution in the system
- Acquire product knowledge to competently demonstrate the products and services we sell
- Escalate issues to second level teams when necessary
- Participation in out of hours on-call
- Demonstrate a professional attitude and positive demeanour at all times.

HTML/CSS/Javascript/Json/XML

IIS,Domain Names, IP Addresses, SSL Certificates

Security and Single Sign On

Antivirus Software

Microsoft Exchange

**Qualifications & Skills**

Higher education qualifications preferred

Strong customer focus

Problem Solving and basic technical skills

Excellent Customer Service skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Customer Service / Team Player oriented

Ability to work independently on assigned projects

**Salary C£24,000
