**Responsibilities**:
North are recruiting for Head of Network and Connectivity, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a winning product and portfolio strategy to develop and drive this key growth driver for North. You will work with our partners, sales teams, customer and technical teams to define our category plan, roadmap and then create and refine winning repeatable product propositions and solutions.

You will be North’s Network and Connectivity expert and thought leader, with a clear understanding of the enterpise market, our partners, our customers and competitors and how - to inform how we develop our capabilities to successfully address market opportunities. You will have insatiable appetite to solve our customer challenges with North’s network and connectivity solutions, developing your role as a ‘trusted advisor’.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

This is an exciting and broad role that will require strategic and commercial acumen, technical & market expertise and strong relationship and collaboration skills. You will take on responsibility for the commercial success of the network & connectivity portfolio across North’s sales sectors, including WiFi, SDLAN, SDWAN, 5GPN & network security technologies and technology partnerships with HP Aruba, Cisco, Ruckus, Fortinet, Nokia and Cradlepoint,

Product & Portfolio Leadership
- Maintaining an in-depth view of Network and Connectivity technologies and how market opportunities can be realised within North’s target market sectors.
- Defining the next phase of the Network and Connectivity portfolio strategy for North with the aim of developing repeatable profitable propositions as a key growth driver
- Develop North’s Network and Connectivity Product Roadmap: including internal development of internal capabilities and winning propositions and solutions underpinned by strategic technology partners
- Collaborating with the Marketing and Sector teams to develop and implement best in class go to market plans for winning Network and Connectivity propositions
- Work with the team to develop and deliver performance enhancing sales training, pre-sales presentation, battlecards, bid documentation, technical demos and customer workshops
- Working with the Commercial, Finance and Sector teams to optimise P&L performance of category including commercial strategy, pricing and bid models

Technical Consultancy
- Development of North’s Network and Connectivity services and security capability.
- End-to-end service development, encompassing research, creation and testing of new Network and Connectivity solutions
- Customer centric with hunger to explore customer feedback and validate North service offering and roadmap
- Pre-sales input to create sector-specific propositions and winning bid responses on major and strategic bids

Partner Management
- Lead strategic portfolio focus and scope of key technology partner relationships
- Maintains knowledge of strategic partner capabilities and roadmap alongside competitive service offerings

Qualifications:

- Analytical and detail conscious
- Solid track record and experience in building winning strategies and teams to achieve market success in presales consulting or product management leadership roles focused on networking LAN/SD-WAN/WiFi/5GpN
- Experience in security technologies and cloud vendors an advantage (such as Fortine, Palo, AWS, Azure).
- Strong market & technical understanding of enterprise networking, security and cloud marketplace
- Knowledge of product/service development, launch and lifecycle management
- Experience of developing successful technology partnerships
