- **a Content and Editorial Lead** at our offices in Camberley, working between office and home on a hybrid basis. The role reports to Head of Brand Marketing, has one direct report (Copywriter) and collaborates with Brand Marketing Lead, Senior Digital Designer, Digital, Product & CRM Leads**Key Responsibilities**:
- Set the agenda for the content and editorial strategy of Milk & More, driving value through an elevated and consistent deployment of editorial, content and copy that aligns with our brand proposition, brand DNA and resonates with the needs, requirements and emotional drivers of our target customers.- Deliver a significant uplift to our marketing campaigns and customer communication channels. Help build awareness and engagement with the Milk & More brand by creatively communicating our core values, purpose and over-arching mission. Use editorial and copy to drive customer acquisition and elongate retention and life-time-value.- Act as a key contributor to the conceptual ideation of marketing campaigns and customer comms, through the telling of brand stories. Lead the end-to-end process for the creation and delivery of inspiring and impactful editorial and copy, relevant to a wide array of media and comms platforms deployed by the business.**Experience & Background**
- Creative & Commercial:
- Experience of developing strategic creative vision, balanced with the delivery of commercial objectives.- Experience of leading others within a content and editorial team. Used to planning and managing multiple workstreams, with significant output requirements and tight deadlines.- You are able to combine creativity with commercial acumen to ensure you are always developing content strategy with business objectives and goals in mind. You remain close to the underlying copywriting skill set and are able to set expectations relative to capacity.- You understand and enjoy the varying demands of the creative process, balancing need to research, plan and consider editorial and content development, whilst also being able to work at pace and manage high levels of versioning and output across different channels.- Communication & Adaptability:
- Experienced in presenting to Senior Executives and developing key working relationship with cross-functional business leads.- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to present responses to briefs, build editorial and content development plans, gathering feedback and opinions from stakeholders to ensure final output delivers on customer need and business objectives- You thrive on the evolution of ideas and are able to adapt quickly as you work across different projects, in parallel.- Technical Skills:
- Experience of workflow management tools, such as Asana- Experience of the planning and publishing process for print media - catalogues, small scale newspaper, direct mail and leaflets- Excellent editing and proofing skills- Experience of developing SEO-led content and copy- Background:
- Significant copywriting, editorial and content creation experience, ideally in a retail/consumer facing sector (whether achieved direct or via agency). Food/Grocery/FMCG experience would be advantageous, but equally we are looking for creative thought capability so any retail/consumer sector experience is welcomed.**The process**:
