As a HR Advisor you will provide HR specialist advice to operational leaders relating to grievances and disciplinaries, employee relations cases, policies and procedures, absences and performance related issues.

A health care provider operating in the North of England. They provide a range of specialist care packages including elderly care, specialist services and children and families.

**As a HR Advisor you will be responsible for**:

- Providing a comprehensive HR Advisory service to operational leaders which will include coaching and supporting with grievances and disciplinaries, ER caseloads, HR policies and procedures, and legislations relating specifically to the care industry
- Provide advice to operational leaders in regards to the employee life cycle, employment legislations, performance and absence management, retention, redeployment and redundancies
- Escalating high risk / complex people matters to Group HR Manager as appropriate
- Reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures and making improvements where required
- Keeping up to date with changes to UK employment legislations

**The successful HR Advisor will have**:

- Previous experience in an Advisory role, with experience of providing coaching and mentoring to senior leaders on a range of people matters (ranging from low level to complex/high risk)
- Up to date knowledge of UK Employment Legislations
- Healthcare experience would be desirable but not essential
- Pragmatic and comprehensive approach to work
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence
- Excellent verbal and written skills
