The role is responsible for driving the adoption and development of Workplace Security Technology platform, enabling colleagues globally to work effortlessly, with the right tools and technology. The Workplace Security Technology Specialist will cover disciplines such as automated provisioning of new devices, seamless installation of software and security updates, design, and implementation of policies to ensure secure usage of our endpoints.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the Group Architects in ensuring conformance to established architecture, standards, trends and best practice
- Design, develop and implement high-capacity and highly resilient End User Compute solutions
- Passionate about continuous improvement of the employee experience, productivity and collaboration, through the use of modern workplace technologies
- Automate the device lifecycle where appropriate, including deploying and maintaining software, responding to security threats, and distributing policies and settings
- Provide expert technical services for systems, security and device experiences in response to incidents, requests, problems and changes
- Be the "go to" person to solve more complex problems, incidents and requests

**Experience**
- Design, deploy and maintain the implementation of the delivered End User Compute platform, and associated technologies
- Input in Technology Core (BTC) Service Transition to operational support
- Access and assess the new Azure and M365 platforms
- Develop clear, concise installation, configuration procedures, runbooks and contributing to the maintenance of operational standards
- Day-to-Day BAU / L3 operational support, utilising Service Desk ticketing system
- Feedback to the Architecture Team on operational design and functionality of the BTC platform
