The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination of junior and middle grade medical staff across Planned and Surgical Care Directorate. Specifically, the post holder will compile and disseminate rotas for the directorates medical staff, and act as a single point of contact for the juniors and middle grades The post holder will provide day-to-day support for the junior and middle grade medical staff within the Planned and Surgical Care Directorate. The post holder must communicate tactfully and persuasively with all Managers, Medical Staffing Officers and all medical staff within the Planned and Surgical Care Directorate to maintain appropriate cover for all aspects of the Directorates medical services at all times. This includes co-ordination of all junior and middle grade medical staffs annual leave and arranging cover at short notice for sick leave and special leave.

The post holder will work closely with the General Managers, Service Managers, Business Support Officers, Human Resources and Medical Staffing.
