**THE ROLE**

Camlin’s strategic planning has presented a solid platform for substantial growth. A requirement for a Chief People Officer (CPO) has arisen to continue to drive the people strategy and lead, together with the leadership team, in the achievement of the ambitious business vision and strategy.

Camlin seeks an exceptional People Leader to lead a global People Team that ensures that exceptional talent is attracted, retained, and leveraged by driving innovation, performance and engagement across our globally distributed teams and creating a culture where people thrive.

**WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY**

The successful CPO will be a trusted advisor to the CEO and the leadership team on strategic people related matters. The CPO will continue to execute a purpose driven people strategy in line with the business strategic plan; lead and develop a people team to provide cutting edge, pragmatic and commercially focused people services.

**RESPONSIBILITES**
- Leading, managing and developing the People Team
- Serving as a member of the Senior Leadership Team advising on strategic people related matters and assisting with the smooth running of the day-to-day business operations
- Coaching and mentoring the senior leadership team, to cultivate a highly cohesive, high functioning group and ensuring that they have the skills, capabilities, and behaviours to drive change and growth
- Working with other business services teams to raise the bar for internal services, delivering a combined set of best-in-class, professional and commercially focused business service
- Ensuring effective global organisational structures and people frameworks to facilitate fast growth
- Ensuring HR legal compliance and best practice people initiatives across all our global jurisdictions
- Driving engagement and ensuring that Camlin continues to be a Great Place to Work providing a culture where people thrive
- Working closely with the Talent team on our talent acquisition strategy and guiding them to manage the talent acquisition funnel - employer brand, talent pipelining and hiring process
- Leading talent management and development - productivity, engagement, reward & recognition, and learning
- Developing terms and conditions of employment and policies that are legally compliant and foster a flexible workforce connected to the business vision, drivers, and values
- Developing effective, value adding pensions, wellbeing and benefits programmes
- Working with our Leadership team and the wider business to build on our diversity and inclusion strategy

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Degree in Human Resources or a closely related business discipline.
- MCIPD Chartered status
- Proven track record of development and implementation of competitive people strategies at pace in a range of fast growing and international companies
- Ability to influence and shape company culture
- Strong collaboration skills and clear communication style and the ability to influence, inspire and align multiple stakeholders and work effectively across teams
- Substantial experience of working at senior leadership level
- Proven ability to drive change, and the capability to challenge the status quo and deliver truly outstanding employee experiences
- Strong analytical ability to seek and analyse information to inform outcomes
