It may be necessary to work alternative hours and some travel may be required occasionally during the year.

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE OF THE ROLE**:
The Training & Development Manager will ensures our people can develop the skills, technical knowledge, certification and qualifications they need to support our business. They will lead on Identifying skills and training gaps within the organisation anddeliver solutions both internally, and through training providers.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Working with the HR Manager and business leaders to identify training and skills gaps
- Sourcing learning and training options which match the business needs
- Maintaining training records and ensuring people hold the required training and certificates to do their job
- Lead on the delivery of our Apprenticeships
- Support our Graduate Development Program.
- Ensure compliance on all of learning programmes maintaining effective standards including GWO & C&G
- Prepare weekly and periodic reports and statistics.
- Maintain the company library of training policies and procedures.

**Role Requirements**
- Construction industry training awareness
- Relevant experience and training in a construction/electrical environment
- knowledge of construction site training requirements including CSCS, and safety based needs
- Knowledge/appreciation of the technical electrical training requirements
- Proven background in training
- Experience of delivering learning in training inhouse and through providers
- Able to maintain and monitor records and action gaps
- Creation of reports on training schedules
- Familiar with apprentice programmes and competent in their delivery and monitoring
