Emergency Department Receptionist

The applicant for this position must be able to communicate effectively and respectfully at all times with both patients and colleagues. Team work is an essential part of this role, as it is across the entire Emergency Department and across the trust as a whole. We encourage support and kindness in every role/task you take on, this being an essential attribute to all colleagues. Our staff matter to us and we recognise that a friendly environment helps our colleagues to work to their best ability.
Healthy, supportive and focused working relationships support the environment we have worked hard to achieve. Communication is a key part of the role, being able to discuss your workload and relay information to other colleagues is also vital. The successful applicant needs to have high levels of accuracy while under pressure. Keeping your team members informed allows patient care to flow smoothly and efficiently, ensuring patients received quality care.
