Care Support Worker

Job Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in need. As a Care Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. This is a rewarding position that requires empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others. Responsibilities: - Provide personal care assistance to individuals, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Assist with medication administration and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules - Support individuals with mobility needs and assist with transfers - Help with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary requirements are met - Engage in meaningful conversations and provide companionship to combat loneliness - Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living spaces and doing laundry - Accompany individuals to appointments or social outings as needed - Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behavior Requirements: - Previous experience in home care, childcare, senior care, nursing homes, or assisted living is preferred - Knowledge of medication administration and experience working with patients requiring specialized care (e.g., dementia care) - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between client locations - Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care - Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals of diverse backgrounds - Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or client needs Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.95 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 40 per week
