Park Assistant

**Primary duties and responsibilities**
- Assist with providing a professional reception service to clients & visitors.
- Meeting & greeting clients & visitors to the office.
- Typing documents when necessary.
- Handling incoming / outgoing calls, correspondence & filing.
- Printing, photocopying, electronic filing & scanning.
- Monitoring inventory, office stock & ordering supplies as necessary.
- Creating & modifying documents using Microsoft Office.
- Basic account data inputting, on Excel spreadsheets.
- Taking Holiday Hire bookings & processing bookings via our online system.
- Liaising with contract cleaners for holiday hire cleaning.
- Managing contractors/suppliers.
- Managing customer payments, using our bespoke online system & accounting software.
- Dealing with customers who use park facilities, such as crazy golf, table tennis.
- Updating, processing & filing of all documents coming into the office.
- Updating & maintaining the tourist information areas in the office/ games room.
- Updating posters using graphics packages such as Adobe In-Design.
- Updating & maintaining the parks website.
- Dealing with Caravan Sales, such as taking clients on sales appointments, processing caravan sales paperwork, etc.
- Preparing & maintaining caravans for sale - ensuring they are presentable for sales appointments.
- Offering support to customers about how to access the parks Wi-Fi service & working with our chosen Wi-Fi provider to assist with the resolution of any issues.
- Ensure the parks are operated under the terms of the licence agreement, via your role.
- Keeping up to date with all training expected of you in your role.

- Strong organisational, administrative & analytical skills.
- Excellent spelling, proofreading & computer skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Computer literate, with keyboard skills and experience of word-processing, (Microsoft Word) combined with ability to acquire other skills as necessary (e.g. databases & spreadsheets).
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel.
- Ability to produce consistently accurate work even whilst under pressure.
- Ability to multitask & manage conflicting demands.
- Ability to deal with difficult clients while maintaining a patient outlook.
- Ability to maintain electronic filing systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all our clients.

**Qualifications and Training**
- GCSE’s or similar in English & Maths is essential.
- Educated to A level standard - or equivalent is desirable.
- At least 1 years’ experience of working within an office environment & front of house is desirable.
- Experience using Microsoft Office is essential, especially Microsoft Excel.
- QCF - VTCT Level 2 diploma in customer service - desirable but not essential.
- QCF - Level 2 diploma in Business & Administration - desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, etc. is desirable.
**Travel Requirements**
- You will be required to provide your own transport or use public transport to & from work.
- You may be required to drive the parks vehicles. This is desirable but not essential.
**Summary of Terms and Conditions**
**Hours **Based on 35 hours per week at £11.44 per hour (enhanced hourly weekend rate of £13.75 following a 3-month probationary period).
**Work Days** Usual days during the season (1st March - 30th November) would be 5 days per week on a set rota system, which will include some weekends. During the closed season (1st December - End of February) the usual days would be Monday - Friday.
**Working Hours **Usual working hours would be 9am - 5pm daily, with ½ an hour unpaid for lunch.
**Pension **Workplace pension scheme available.
**Leave entitlement **28 days per year with an extra day per year for every full year worked up to a maximum of 5 days.
