Based in Grosmont Station

**£17,004 per annum based on 1560 annualised hours. **We are a Real Living Wage Employer

Would you like to join our friendly Tearoom Team, offering a first-class visitor experience to our customers, whilst working at one of Britain’s most popular Heritage Railways?

You will
- Assist in all aspects of food preparation and service to visitors and working members of the NYMR in a friendly, professional & profitable manner
- Cover in the supervisor’s days off, opening up and closing down the outlet & cashing up.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the premises, to clean and wipe tables & keep the tearoom clean and well stocked.
- Follow all health & safety procedures, ensuring good food hygiene practices are adhered to at all times, ensuring the tearoom retains its level 5 food standard rating.

The Hours
- This permanent Tearoom Assistant position is based on 1560 annualised hours. These hours will be mainly worked during the main operating season (March - early November), usually 5 days over 7, including weekends on a rota basis.
- Additional hours will be worked during the winter months which include, but are not limited to, when the trains are running.
