We have a fantastic opportunity for a Catering assistant to join join our team based Whitby - Whitby Hospital.

This is 3 month fixed term contract.
- Hours of Work
- 16.5 hours per week on the below shift pattern
- Week 1- Monday 9.30pm-2pm, Tuesday, 2.30pm-6.30pm, Saturday & Sunday.
- Week 2- Monday 2pm-6.30pm, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 9.30am-1.30pm.
- Pay £11.55 per hour
- Training will be provided
- DBS is required.

**About the role**:

- The Catering Assistant is responsible for the provision of a food and beverage service in accordance with health and safety requirements, Patient Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) and NHS Property Services policies and procedures.
- Duties include, but are not limited to, food preparation, cooking, serving and presentation, cleaning of crockery, cutlery and equipment, rotation of stock, maintenance of food hygiene regulations and cash handling. No formal qualification is required as full training will be given.
