**Customs Administrator**:
We are currently recruiting for a Customs Administrator in the Global Logistics Team, responsible for submitting Customs declarations to HRMC for imports and exports maintaining timely and robust material flow to Engineering business worldwide.

You will be working as part of a team, on shift operating 7 days a week. Working directly with logistics providers and internal customers to ensure excellent and consistent supplier performance to meet the business needs.

**What you’ll do**:

- Ensures timely submission of Customs declarations to HMRC, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory processes and procedures
- Prioritisation, planning and organisation of both individual and team tasks as part of set objectives, ensuring that all reporting lines are adhered to and relevant departmental, team and individual objectives are fulfilled
- Ensures high-quality communication takes place with all stakeholders, suppliers and customers and that this takes place in a timely and accurate manner
- Expected to work collaboratively within the department and throughout the airline, its partners and suppliers

**What you’ll bring to British Airways**:

- I am able to prioritise, plan and organise my work, delivering to set deadlines

- Able to work on own initiate and as part of a team
- Willing to learn import and export processes and regulations
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good financial acumen, commercial skills and awareness
- Ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good prioritisation, planning and organisational skills
- Able to interpret and process import and export shipments according to type and required regulation/s

**Your experience**:

- Education to Level 2 (or educational equivalent)
- Alternatively, possesses equivalent experience
- Good knowledge of BA Engineering IT systems, including EWS/SAP
- Sound knowledge of material movements & logistics processes & procedures
