As our **Lead Test Manager,** you will lead the test capability function setting clear standards and advising on test direction, and standards and improving the test capability across the practice. You will be responsible for creating progressionframeworks and recruitment plans, and take a lead on developing internal training modules for improving test capability.

**Responsibilities as our Lead Test Manager**:

- Building professional and collaborative relationships with other Practice leads to promote cross functional capability training
- Providing in-depth, expert Practice guidance to project teams on complex technical or high-risk areas
- Leading on recruitment campaigns and creating a comprehensive induction and training strategy that enhances and grows capability and delivers an internal workforce that is empowered and expert in their field
- Acting as coach and mentor to Test Managers and point of contact for escalation of complex issues
- Creating and developing practice networks within HM Land Registry and across government departments and other businesses to stay current with industry practices in technical enhancements and ensure our practices are current and in line with industry standards
- Being responsible for maintaining a managed view of all test activity to ensure that testing is being appropriately carried out at the programme level, including the identification of risks
- Being responsible for the development and monitoring of metrics to measure the quality of recruitment and improvement in capability, using the analysis of these metrics to inform future strategies and any targeted recruitment or training initiatives

**What we are looking for in our Lead Test Manager**:

- Advanced Test Manager qualification
- Practitioner level experience in Test Management
- Expert in understanding environmental needs and capabilities
- Experience in all testing levels (from Unit to OAT)
- Experience in integration practices
- Experience in training and mentoring technical test skills
- Experience in leading testing teams in both traditional and agile methodologies
- Experience in creating and managing effective test processes
