Plymouth, United Kingdom Havencare Homes and Support Limited Full time

**Salary**:£40,000 per annum FTE**

**Hours**:37.5 hours per week**

**Closing Date**:14th July 2023**

**This is an exciting opportunity that you will not want to miss**. Do you want to make a real difference with a rewarding career? Our Plymouth Regional Lead will be accountable for leading and developing people and services by exceeding CQC regulatory compliance, contract performance, achieving performance targets and quality assurance oversight. You will provide “practice supervision” and through coproduction with supported people you will take accountability for the provision of outstanding support. Reporting to our Director of Operations (our CQC nominated individual) you will take personal and collective responsibility for regulated activity that drives up quality, increases peer support networks, and enables those that you lead to reach their full potential.

**About Havencare. **Havencare has been making a difference for 35 years, changing the lives of people who have learning disabilities, autism, brain injuries, and other support needs. Our big aims include every person having a home that is right for them, and support for the life they choose. We provide direct support services to over 100 people and some bespoke housing across Cornwall and Devon (from Penzance to Teignmouth) with a growing workforce of 270 staff. We have the potential and the passion to do so much more, making a difference locally, regionally, and nationally.

**About you and this opportunity -** Havencare’s values of “transparency”, “engagement” and “quality” will flow through every decision you make and action you take. You will believe in our charity’s purpose, vision, and mission, and play a leading role in achieving our big aims. As a Regional Lead, you will manage the delivery of outstanding regulated support, and role model the principles of our people strategy. Experience of holding a CQC registration is preferred; but the necessary knowledge, ability, willingness, ambition, and motivation to make a difference is essential

As Regional Lead you will fulfil the responsibilities of a CQC Registered Manager, ensuring supported people experience a Safe, Caring, Responsive, Effective, and Well-Led service, and CQC inspections demonstrate your service(s) is, or is working towards being, outstanding.

You will lead a learning culture and develop people in your region, being a visible coach, motivator, and supporter. You will be responsible for assigned Registered Managers who manage Practice Leaders, Hub Leaders and/or Outreach Leaders. You will lead the Registered Managers in your region to develop our services in line with budgets and policies and you will also develop and maintain relationships with professional and other support networks**. **You will lead practice development in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), trauma informed approaches, active support, and any emerging best practice. Your role will include you acting as 2nd response to the on-call rota (every 4-6 weeks).

Alongside your regional responsibilities, you will be motivated to provide collective leadership in wider organisational risks, priorities, development, and projects including managing and supporting growth in your services and across Havencare. You will have personal ambition to develop in your career with us, and you will want our charity to reach more people and keep making a difference.

**In return for your commitment to Havencare, we will**:

- Offer you flexibility and autonomy in your working patterns to deliver your responsibilities.
- Provide opportunities to develop the skills you need to succeed on your career pathway.
- Give you enhanced annual leave starting at 6 weeks rising to 6.4 weeks after 1 year in role.
- Provide access to 24/7 confidential Employee Assistance Programme to support your health and wellbeing.
- Reward you with vouchers for Christmas, your birthday, and your annual work anniversary.
- Provide paid DBS, refer a friend incentive rewards, an opportunity to undertake hourly-paid overtime shifts.
