**Job overview**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an administrator to join our Mental Health Liaison Team within West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St Edmunds. We are looking for a skilled and experienced person to join the passionate and dedicated team.
Our team is part of West Suffolk care group’s crisis pathway. It works as a single point of access for referrals and provides a range of mental health specialties within one multidisciplinary team to patients of all ages. Our teams respond to a diverse range of referrals covering both the liaison and crisis assessment function.
The service operates 24/7, 365 days of the year meaning there is flexibility within the working hours of the role.
**Main duties of the job**:
- Previous administration experience is essential.
- Full training will be given for this role.
- You will need to be able to demonstrate the strength of your communication, prioritisation and administration skills at the same time as showcasing your knowledge of IT systems.
- You will be able to evidence a flexible response to service needs and the ability to think creatively.
- Experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintaining strict confidentiality are also essential.
Essential criteria:
- Experience of working in a busy office.
- Taking and processing referrals via phone and online and extensive knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
- Dealing efficiently and politely with both internal and external customers in a confidential and confident manner.
- Professional exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with a dedication to confidentiality are essential.
This role is vital for the function of our team and will involve administrative support in order that they can provide an efficient service to all.
